We’re a Nebraska family who spends a lot of weekends on the road, exploring small towns, back roads, and local auctions. Along the way we pick up pieces that feel like little time capsules from American history and bring them home to our shop.
This bright yellow Texaco gas pump is a Gearbox Collectibles – Limited Edition model. We discovered it at a small auction in Elkhorn, Nebraska in 2024. The bold yellow body, red top and classic Texaco globe give it a real “old filling station” vibe. It’s a sturdy metal collectible meant for display rather than play, perfect for anyone who loves vintage service stations, classic cars, or Americana décor.
The pump has a ribbed yellow column, a clear “visible” cylinder with printed measurements, gold-tone nozzle and hardware, and a black hose that curves neatly around the side. It makes a great accent on a bookshelf, in a garage or man cave, or on a bar cart or office shelf. As with all our finds, we carefully clean, photograph and pack it before it heads to its new home.
