The sculpture depicts three firefighters raising the American flag among the rubble, inspired by the iconic Ground Zero image from September 11, 2001. It is part of the Red Hats of Courage series by Vanmark, and this piece is individually numbered 0680/2500 on the base. The figure is detailed and substantial, with a heavy feel and a wood-tone base – designed as a display collectible, not a toy.
The framed print shows the same scene and complements the statue when displayed together on a shelf, mantel, or in an office. This set was purchased in Waterloo, Iowa in fall 2025 and has been kept as a display piece.
